Chericoco Resigns APC Deputy Leadership

Two-time Deputy Leader and running mate of the All People’s Congress (APC) Party Hon. Chernor Maju Bah, fondly known as Chericoco, has officially resigned the Party’s deputy leader position.

The said event took place at the party’s headquarters on Old Railway Line, Brookfields, on 11th October 2024.

The resignation witnessed his handing over of the keys to his office space to the Secretary General of the party Lansana Dumbuya in the presence of their chairman Hon. Alhaji Minkailu Mansaray, together with top-ranking officials of the party’s National Advisory Council (NAC).

In a remarkable farewell speech, Hon. Chericoco expressed his profound gratitude to the party executive and the general membership for entrusting him such a pivotal role.

The Party appreciated his critical role in reshaping its policies and by extension supporting its ideology.

Chericoco has played an active role in the political landscape of Sierra Leone having served three times as a member of the Sierra Leone Parliament, Leader of the Delegation to ECOWAS Parliament, minority leader and two-time consecutive running mate to the former presidential candidate of APC Dr. Mathew Wilson Samura Kamara.

According to Isha Sesay, a staunch supporter of APC, labelled Chericoco as a true, young, ambitious leader with a prosperous future.
