The Ministry of Finance’s FY2025 Budget Speech is set for today, Friday 15th November, 2025, in the chambers of Parliament.
Minister of Finance Mr. Sheku Ahmed Fantamandi Bangura will present Government budget and statement of Economic and Financial Policies.
In attendance will be Cabinet Ministers and Deputies, Vote Controllers, Heads of Departments, Agencies and State-owned Enterprises, representatives of Development Partners, Members of the Diplomatic and Consular Corp, Non-Government Organizations, District Budget and Oversight Committees, Local Community Representatives, Non-State Actors, Civil Society Organizations and members of the general public.
In a previous letter written by the Financial Secretary addressed to all permanent secretaries and heads of departments, Ministries Department and Agencies (MDAs) are advised to focus on operational activities, programmes and projects for FY2025 that are geared towards achieving Government’s Big Five Game-Changer, Feed Salone (Agriculture), Human Capital Development, Youth Employment Scheme (YES), Revamping the Public Architecture and Technology and Infrastructure. These components align with the national goals as outlined in the Medium- Term National Development Plan (2024-2030).
